Customer Billing Support Associate

The role

Paykhata is hiring a Customer Billing Support Associate to answer billing and payment questions for the businesses on our desk. Most of the day is written: explaining a charge, sorting out a failed payment, or walking a customer through what their invoice covers.

You will work from each client's desk guide — their plans, their proration rules, their refund policy — so what you tell a customer matches what the client would say. Where a request falls outside policy, you pass it back rather than promise something.

This is a part-time, fully remote role within India, with shifts agreed in advance so it fits around studies or another commitment.

What you'll do

• Answer invoice, charge and plan questions from the client's desk guide
• Handle failed payments — retries, updated details, polite follow-up
• Assess refund and credit requests against the client's policy
• Document every adjustment so finance can retrace it
• Flag repeating questions so the client can fix the underlying cause

What we're looking for

• Clear, calm written English — this role is mostly writing
• Comfortable with numbers on an invoice: dates, amounts, proration
• Able to follow a written policy and say no politely when needed
• Reliable internet and a quiet place to work during your shift
• Support, billing or finance exposure is a plus, not a requirement

What we offer

• ₹18,000–₹26,000 per month for part-time hours, paid monthly
• Fixed shifts agreed a week ahead, Monday to Saturday
