Your best engineer probably wouldn't pass your own resume filter.
We started Starhas Learning because hiring by resume is hiring blind. We're a small Pune-based team building hiring that measures what people build.
Why we exist
We keep meeting brilliant developers who get auto-rejected because their CV is one page of the "wrong" keywords, gaps, or a college nobody ranks. Meanwhile a polished resume gets a call, then freezes the moment it touches a real problem.
The paper and the skill are two different things — and most funnels only measure the paper. Starhas Learning gives developers an actual task from your stack and lets them show the work: how they structure a solution, handle edge cases, and reason when the spec is messy. That's the part a resume can't fake.
Skill-based hiring isn't a nice-to-have — it's the only signal that survives day one on the job. If you've ever been burned by a "perfect on paper" hire, you already know why we exist.
We'd rather show you than pitch you. Bring your hardest-to-fill role and we'll build a real challenge around it.
Measure the work, not the paper
Skill over resume
A resume is a marketing document the candidate writes about themselves. The only signal that survives day one is the work.
Same task for all
Put everyone in front of the identical real problem under the same clock. That's how a shortlist becomes comparable and fair.
Reasons you can see
Objective doesn't mean cold. Every score traces back to a rubric and the actual submission — auditable, not a gut call.
